Jindrich Kloub is a case handler in the cartel division of the European Commission's DG Competition. In his position he deals with all aspects of the investigation and prosecution of international cartels. Prior to joining DG Competition, Jindrich worked in private practice in an international law firm in Prague, Czech Republic, dealing with corporate as well as antitrust matters. Jindrich obtained his law degree at the Charles University in Prague and received an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. He teaches competition law as a visiting professor at the Catholic University in Lille and regularly writes and speaks at conferences on all areas of competition law with a particular focus on cartels and private damage actions, which are also the subject of his doctoral thesis. Jindrich is a member of the section of antitrust law of the American Bar Association.
